AT&T Zodiac Project, Moab, Vernal, Salt Lake Jan 11 – Mar 11

·   Installed DSX radios in the cell site and done sweep testing, PIM tests and T1 test.

·   Installed 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th UMTS carrier to the cell sites.

·   Installed RXAIT to the site to share Receive.

·   Installed UMTS Node-B to the cell site and was able to read plumbing drawings.

·   Interacted with client for updates and resolving installation issues.

·   Updates RFDS according to the current equipment present at the cell site.

·   Installation of DSX racks, and Alcatel radios (9500 and 7500) series, Installing Waveguides, Wiring up the DSX panels and programming the radios through Exalt.

·   Preparing Cat5 cables for the radios and routers, power cables for PDU (power distribution unit) to power up the Alcatel radios and DSX panels. Intense use of multiple hardware tools

·   Working alongside Level 3 techs and converting cell site traffic from the older radio to the one upgraded working with unlicensed frequencies.
